I am currently completing the second semester of my junior year at Colorado State University. I am majoring in History with a concentration in Social Studies Education and have included a link to my education portfolio at the bottom.
During the time I spent in my history capstone course I was able to learn many pertinent and relevant facts regarding to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Being a member of this class has enhanced my knowledge of the subject while also allowing me to take control of my learning. This particular capstone project gave me the opportunity to travel to the Rocky Mountain Region branch of the National Archives for primary-source research, as well as read books that were interesting and necessary to have a grasp on Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and all of the issues surrounding this area.
